Amazon Prime Video will bring you three more much-anticipated Bollywood films this year, after Gulabo Sitabo and Shakuntala Devi.
Taran Adarsh, a trade analyst, announced that Varun Dhawan and Sara Ali Khan’s Coolie No 1, Rajkummar Rao’s Chhalaang and Bhumi Pednekar’s Durgavati are among the 9 films scheduled to be released on the OTT platform this year. Coolie No 1, which is a remake of the 1995 film of the same name by David Dhawan, will be released on December 25, while Chhalaang and Durgavati will be released on November 13 (Diwali) and December 11. Halal Love Story (Malayalam), Bheema Sena Nalamaharaja (Kannada), Soorarai Pottru (Tamil), Manne Number 13 (Kannada), Middle Class Melodies (Telugu) and Maara (Tamil) are the other films to premiere on Prime Video.
Set in Uttar Pradesh, it is a black comedy and portrays the problems facing a sports coach. It seeks to stress the importance of sports in children’s development. Bhushan Kumar will present the film, produced by Ajay Devgn, Luv Ranjan and Ankur Garg.

Halal Love Story (Malayalam)

The film follows the journey of a group of friends who try to make a ‘halal’ film that conforms to the Islamic organisation’s guidelines and definitions they are part of. The film promises to put back all the beauty and small-town goodness of the earlier film Sudani From Nigeria by its director Zakariya Mohammed. This time around, we really can’t wait to see what he has to say.

The storey of an innocent government officer who is the victim of a big plot involving powerful powers is told in the film. The presentation of Durgavati is by T-Series and Cape of Good Films. It is touted to be a remake of Bhaagmathie, the 2018 Telugu movie.
